Built By Jerry | WCX

Regular price $2,000.00 1248 grams

WCX: The WCX is a racing tubular design to have better flex and terrain feel based upon World Cup and European sponsored rider feedback. 25mm wide 28mm deep, ultralight weight, these wheels remain my go-to for Euro style courses, heavy courses, or those with lots of elevation gain or running. An old school mentality CX wheel with a new school build (and disc brakes). The WCX is exceptionally light at 1,175 to 1,245 grams depending on hub selection.

These wheels remain my go to for technical courses. With a shallow profile, the WCX will ride softer and maintain better ground contact and follow the track on technical chutes or ruts, while dropping significant weight that you can feel when shouldering and flicking the bike around.

Note that the graphics shown are outdated and all new wheels have the "Built By Jerry" logo in white with a single WCX graphic in gloss black.

The WCX is disc only, laced 24H two cross front and rear. Through axles are not included as they are part of the bike-frame system.

Simply the best

Can’t say enough about these wheels. Racing CX for longer than I can remember and these are the best wheels I’ve ever ridden on. Light, handle perfectly and totally handmade with care and attention.

A Special set.

These are a special set of race wheels! They are ridiculously light and have a really unique feel to them on bumpy and rough courses. The increased compliance in these wheels give them an advantage over bumpy courses and they maintain traction very well through corners or when braking/accelerating. They spin up SO FAST and drop a ton of weight out when shouldering the bike. I've ridden a number of the top of the line tubular race wheel sets over the years and these perform as well if no better than wheel set costing twice as much.
